Rescheduling appointments
You can reschedule appointments from Patient Detail > Patient admin or Outpatients > Calendar.
Depending on your permissions, you can reschedule multiple appointments from Outpatients > Manage > Appointments or Clinic Slots.

Rescheduling appointments on a mobile
You can't do this on a mobile.
Rescheduling appointments on a desktop

Select Outpatients > Clinic List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail.
Depending on your permissions, you might need to select Go to patient record.

From Patient Detail > Patient admin > Show pathways > Appts > Booked Future Appointments, select an appointment with the status 'Appointment booked'.

Select Book/Reschedule.

Select Continue.

From Clinic, select a clinic to book an appointment at that clinic.
To view dates and times for appointments at any clinics, select All Clinics.

From the calendar, select a date to view appointment slots on that date.
Mouseover a date to view availability on that date.

From the list on the right, select an appointment slot.
If there are no slots available, select Overbook to overbook the clinic.

To extend an appointment, from Extend Duration, select a time.
Select + to view more times.

Select Reschedule appointment.

Select who cancelled the original appointment.

Select the reason they cancelled the original appointment.

Enter any notes.

Select Continue.

Select a correspondence option to change who the letters are sent to.
To not send the letters, select None.
The options you see depend on your organisation.

Select Click to preview letters.
The letters appear in your organisation's PDF viewer.
A list of letters appears on the right. This shows the recipient of each letter and how the letter is delivered. For example, 'GP - MESH' or 'Patient - Manual print'.

Select Send.
The appointment's date and time updates.

From Outpatients > Calendar > , select a clinic and a day to view.

Right-click on an appointment slot.

Select Reschedule Selected Appointments.

Search for an appointment slot, or choose an appointment slot.

To search for an appointment slot:
-
From Allocation, select an option.
-
To search for appointments on the same day at the same time, select Maintain day and time.

To search for the next available appointment, select First available.

To search for appointments on the same day, select Maintain day.

From Earliest date, select a date to search for appointments from that date.

From Include Blocked Slots, select an option to include or exclude blocked slots in your search.

Select Search.
If an appointment is available, Nervecentre selects it.
To remove the appointment Nervecentre chose, select Clear, or select next to the appointment.

To choose an appointment slot, select Choose.

Select Reschedule Appointments.

From
, select an option to change who the letters are sent to.To not send the letters, select None.

To preview any letters, select .
-
Select Schedule appointments and send letters.

Select a reason for cancelling the original appointment.

Enter any notes.
-
Select Continue.
The appointment's date and time updates.
